Roxanne Oliver CNP

Even from a young age, Roxanne knew she wanted to help people feel the best they could. In 2010, she graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then with her Master of Science-FNP in 2013. She became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC in 2013. She started her practice in Hospice and Palliative Medicine where she partnered with a primary care physician to create a home-based palliative care program that provided symptom management for patients with chronic disease throughout the Chicagoland area.  In 2015, she and her family moved to Ohio where she became a Hospitalist NP at Marion General Hospital. As she gained experience, she built a passion for integrating evidence-based care that would improve patient outcomes. She obtained her DNP from Wilkes University in 2018 and her certificate in Evidence-Based Practice from Ohio State University in 2021 to better translate evidence into practice and to care for her patients. She received her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University in 2022.

Roxanne’s current passions include teaching the next generation of APRNs, healthy weight management, hospital care, and preventive care.

When not at the hospital or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, reading, cycling, and walking her dogs.
